Mac Steen spent his first 12 years living throughout the world as the second son of a career Air Force family. He attended Florida schools from 6th grade until he graduated from Melbourne High School in 1966. He attended the University of Florida, where he graduated in 1970 with a degree in business management. While in Gainesville, he played football for the Gators and was elected Captain of the 1969, 9-1-1 Gator Bowl Championship Team. While at UF, he was chosen for the All-SEC Academic football team for three straight years. His senior year, Dr. Steen was selected All-State, All-SEC, Honorable Mention All-American and was drafted by the San Diego Chargers professional football team. He was also elected to ODK Honorary Fraternity, Florida Blue Key and the UF Hall of Fame. In 2004, he was inducted into the Gator Athletic Hall of Fame.

"Your first appointment will be a simple visual and digital X-ray examination to discuss your orthodontic concerns and needs. If the misalignment of teeth or bite is considered detrimental to the health of the mouth or the attractiveness of the smile, Dr. Steen will make preliminary recommendations about corrective procedures. We will usually take a panoramic X-ray at this appointment, if there are teeth that have not emerged into the mouth yet. This visit requires approximately 30 minutes and there is no charge. Please bring any dental insurance information you have with you.
